How to use cutting discs
Slicing and grating discs there are many discs available for your Magimix food processor, these used correctly save large amounts of time, julienne carrots can be created in seconds, sliced Cucumbers, Grated cheese, Parmesan, coleslaw and many other jobs quick and cost effective.
Using - Small feed tube
Slicing long fruit or vegetables (e.g. cucumbers, carrots, leeks). Stand the fruit and vegetables upright and close together.
Slicing small fruit or vegetables (e.g. strawberries, kiwi fruit, turnips). Place them into the small feed tube one at a time.
Grating long fruit or vegetables (e.g. carrots, courgettes) or pieces of cheese. Stack them horizontally in the small feed tube.
Using - large feed tube
Slicing round fruit or vegetables (e.g. oranges, pineapples, apples, pears, mangoes, tomatoes, potatoes). Either cut them into large pieces before introducing them into the feed tube, or leave them whole.
Important info
DO NOT push to hard on the pusher, just rest your hand on top, this will cut, slice, grate, julienne better, pushing harder will only result in the disc support damaging the spindle.
Do not fill it beyond the MAX level indicator, otherwise your food processor will not start
When using the discs keep an eye on how full the Midi or main bowl is if you overfill it will lift Disc and damage lid
