To change hold blade in tea towel - Unscrew Metal Clutch Clockwise - take off all the washers - replace with the ONE metal washer - Screw metal clutch back on anti-clockwise.

The Blender Blade should be taken apart and cleaned, undo the Blade Clutch at the base of the blade, hold the blade assembly upside down in a tea cloth or oven glove, unscrew by turning the Blade Clutch Clockwise. Remove the Blade washer, remove the seal gasket , then pull the blade through the housing under the blade is a under blade seal this should be washed and checked for any damage. Reassemble the Blade assembly making sure the Blade clutch is tight.
The Under blade seal is there to allow the blade assembly to Pulse under some of the functions, there should always be small up and down movement.
